A few months back I received a letter. It was from SST! I was so excited! This was it.. Would i go to SST? Or end up in some other school... I carefully ripped open the letter and peeped at it. I was on the waiting list. NO!!.. I knew my chances of getting into SST would be very slim.

Days passed. Months passed.

It was time to receive my PSLE results. My heart was pounding against my ribs. My teacher called out my name. I took my result slip and walked back to my seat. I smashed it under my table, not daring to look at it. I thought to myself how long more am I going to keep my own results from myself for? It sounded absurd. With that I placed the slip on my table. Slid down my hand, uncovering my greatest nightmare. Thankfully, my dreaded results weren't as terrible as I expected.

My family went to celebrate at "The Griller". The backed rice I ordered just arrived. At that same moment, my mother received a phone call. It was from SST! They said that I was accepted at SST! I was taken aback. Was this someone playing a prank on me? My mother thought along the same lines as me. She kept asking if I really was accepted at SST. YES! I was! My journey at SST begins...

Why I chose this picture is because I was very stunned when I heard I had got into SST. I had received the letter that stated I was on the waiting list. But, all of a sudden, I was going to SST!! I did not expect it at all!
